This page highlights resources for infection preventionists working with environmental services colleagues. These reources were developed as part of the Clean Spaces, Healthy Patients project. That project brought together leaders in infection prevention and environmental services. Collaboratively, they delivered practical strategies to endorse processes to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiencies. Clean Spaces, Healthy Patients was a collaborative between APIC and the Association for the Healthcare Environment (AHE).

These resources were originally developed as part of the Building Bridges project. "Building Bridges" is a project designed to establish collaborative relationships between APIC’s infection preventionists and members of other stakeholder societies, associations, and research institutions. These collaborative efforts provide joint research, events, and education for healthcare providers and patients.
