Professional Development Committee Chair
Corrianne Billings, RN, BSN, BS
Asheville, NC
Corrianne Billings, BSN, BS, RN, CIC is an Infection Prevention Specialist with Mission Health System in Asheville, NC. Corrianne considers herself to be early in the proficient stage of the APIC Competency Model and aspires to one day have FAPIC status. Prior to working in Infection Prevention, she was a bedside nurse working with patients with stroke, brain injury, and other neurological injury. Corrianne is active in her local APIC chapter, the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses regional chapter, and is the Chair of the APIC Professional Development Committee. While she enjoys all aspects of Infection Prevention, her specific interests include education, policy, data management and informatics. In her personal time, Corrianne enjoys sewing, quilting and crafting with her three feline assistants as well as enjoying the outdoors in the beautiful mountain city she calls home.
