The Pediatrics section addresses infection prevention and control issues specific to pediatric practices, which differ from adult practices. The section aims to provide a strong network of infection preventionists who offer support and discuss pertinent issues affecting patients and healthcare personnel in pediatric settings. Members also share best practices throughout the year, including policies and procedures regarding visitation policies, parent contracts, signage, case studies, outcome studies, screening tools, evidence based practices, and more.
