FDA/CDC webinar on updated duodenoscope reprocessing protocols

The FDA, CDC, and American Society for Microbiology (ASM) have released updated protocols for duodenoscope surveillance sampling and culturing. These protocols are an update to the Interim Duodenoscope Surveillance Protocol released by CDC in March 2015. The agencies will hold a webinar to review the protocols on March 22 at 1:00 – 2:30 pm EST. Read the FDA notice for more information and instructions on how to join the webinar.
