New for 2019!
Interactive Learning Guided by Leading IPC Experts
Be among the first to experience APIC’s inaugural Applied Learning Conference (ALC) this fall. This dynamic and engaging event was designed for IPs looking to advance their career. Learn, grow, and network—all in a condensed, 2-day format. Our educational sessions will increase your fundamental knowledge and provide practical skills you need to protect patients in your facility. The 2019 APIC ALC focuses on two key themes* fundamental to the effectiveness of all IPC programs:
Cleaning, Disinfection, and Sterilization
Microbiology and Antibiotics for the IP
Access interactive learning with leading experts in your field and engage in valuable peer-to-peer networking and discussion around the IPC issues and challenges you face every day. In addition, you’ll learn about APIC’s new Competency Model and understand how to practically apply the education you receive at the conference to advance your career.
*Look for these classifications below the workshop name in the ALC Program Overview.
The ALC provides a unique opportunity to advance your knowledge and skills, learn about effective practice and emerging technologies, and build your network with a diverse community of IP professionals.
Join us a day early to participate in a Pre-Conference Workshop and get even more out of your ALC experience! Both workshops are offered on Friday, October 25 from 8 AM–4:30 PM:
- CIC® Certification Preparatory Course
- Beyond the Status Quo: Innovative Strategies for Addressing Hand Hygiene
Registration fee includes attendance, materials, and lunch each day. It does not include travel expenses (airfare, hotel accommodations, and lunch).
