Long-Term Care Infection Preventionist Essentials Training
Managing infection prevention and control (IPC) in long-term care settings presents a unique set of challenges and issues. This course provides the foundation required for the role of the infection preventionist (IP) and the practice(s) of being an effective IP in a long-term care setting. It includes creating and managing successful IPC programs and mitigating risk at your facility. This course also covers Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) required topics. Attendance all days is required to earn all available CE credits.
