This intensive training course covers essential training and competency-building in infection prevention and control (IPC) for healthcare professionals in Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs) and Ambulatory Settings. You’ll learn evidence-based best practices that are focused on your specific facility-based requirements and will get the tools you need to develop an effective IPC program.
CIC® Certification Preparation
Individuals seeking a deeper dive into CIC content as well as greater support and guidance as you prepare to take the CIC® exam, that is administered by the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc. (CBIC)
EPI® Intensive
This intensive training course covers essential training and competency-building in infection prevention and control (IPC) for healthcare professionals in acute care. You will learn evidenced-based best practices to develop an effective IPC program to protect patients, reduce risk, and comply with accrediting and regulatory requirements. Attendance is required to earn all available CNE credits.
Infection Prevention in Dental Settings Workshop
This immersive, one-day workshop dives into three of the most critical infection prevention (IP) issues in dentistry today: Cross-contamination; Dental Unit Water safety; Instrument maintenance & reprocessing. This session will lead you through a risk assessment process where you’ll identify and prioritize risks in your practice—then learn how to implement real, sustainable solutions.
Planning and Design in Healthcare Construction: An IP Focus Boston
This hands-on workshop equips infection prevention professionals with the tools and strategies needed to influence healthcare construction projects from the very beginning. Participants will explore how early engagement during concept development, planning, and design can significantly improve patient safety outcomes and reduce infection risks through the incorporation of infection-prevention related design considerations into the built environment.
